Guests at Nirvana love the serenity of this well designed spacious home with many facets and areas to spread out. The views over the valley and adjacent Kondalilla Falls National park from the decks are beautiful. The gardens give the home a real country feel.
The warm toasty fire, the large collection of books, the premium sound system- all add up to an unforgettable stay. The house is very private and yet only a few minutes away from charming Montville village. It really is country living at its best.
Your hosts-Rekha & Shekhar grew up in the foothills of the Himalayas in India and moved to Australia in 1994. We raised our son, Sameer and our daughter, Noel in Brisbane where we worked both in the public service and the private sector. Both Rekha and Shekhar are passionate about Nirvana and love meeting and hosting their guests.
Rekha has over 30 years experience working in the public sector, universities and in the private sector in Australia and overseas. Her interests include Yoga, reading, interior decoration and Indian cooking. Shekhar has been an industrial chemist overseas and a Queensland public servant. He loves to travel and is a keen percussionist.
But we always wanted to get away from the pressures and stresses of a fast paced corporate city life and yearned for the tranquillity and relaxed pace of a country lifestyle in the hills. And then we discovered Montville..
We have been in love with Montville and the surrounding areas ever since we first visited it in 1997 on a business trip. We simply HAD to live here and started looking at properties in the region. We saw many beautiful places but it was love at first sight when we drove into the winding driveway of this magnificent house. The breathtaking natural beauty, the crisp mountain air, the spectacular valley views, the waking up to the sound and sights of nature; the dense mist that rises up from the valley in the morning. The spacious house, the endless decks, the pool, the bar, the fireplace, the landscaped gardens -it was just magical.
We immediately knew that we had found our Nirvana…

Take in the view from this lovely Montville house and watch the glorious sunset over the rolling hills from the extensive covered verandahs or the pool deck.
